How I start Family Trip

Book promo tickets.
a Journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step - book a ticket. To Get a promo ticket, we can follow social media that post promo ticket from airline , check arlines website, or go to travel fair.

• 3 Ticket returns at Rp600.000/each from Jogja to Bali with Air Asia
• 1 Ticket returns at less than Rp500.000 from Jakarta to Bali with Garuda Indonesia. I just pay adm fee and airport tax because I use discount redeem point Garuda Indonesia from Garuda Travel Fair

Total Flight cost for 4 person = Rp2.300.000,-

Looking for a Place To Stay
There are many places to stay in Bali like a house, backpacker hostel, cheap hotel until expensive hotel. I use a wide range of booking hotel application, such as airbnb, agoda.com, traveloka, booking.com, tripadvisor, etc.
Things that we must consider while we choose a place to stay

• See our budget and look for a place that fit with our budget.
• See the photo, facilities, and surrounding area (easy access and near the favorite spot like shopping area or tourist attraction)
• See the reviews from other travellers
• See the price and discount promo. Don't forget to compare with other booking hotel application. Make sure to get the lowest price with the same facilities.

For this trip, I choose Alron Hotel because it's easy to access (near Kuta), fit my budget (Rp220.000,- /each room include breakfast), has a great review from tripadvisor, has friendly officer, is comfortable and clean.
Hotel Cost : Rp220.000 x 2 rooms x 3 night = Rp1.320.000

Friday
arrived in Bali - have lunch with Ayam Betutu (Traditional food from Bali) - Pray in Puja Mandala (a cluster of houses of worship reprenting all of indonesia's reliogions) and Garuda Wisnu Kencana - watch Kecak Dance in Uluwatu
Saturday
Go To Lovina Beach to see dolphins - Go To Bedugul - Kuta Beach and Legian , have dinner in Nasi Pedas (Traditional Food), Buy souvenir in Krisna
Sunday
Go To Penglipuran Village ( Traditional Village in Bali) - Go To Ubud - Come Back to Jakarta

Transportation
We can rent motorcycle or car, the rental place is easy to find. If you don't have the contact person to rent, just ask the hotel officer or walk to small alley around Kuta Beach. You can find some places to rent vehicle there. Just Give your id card, and you can drive the vehicle.
I got Rp80.000 for a motorcycle and Rp250.000 (Not include driver and gasoline) for a car per 24 hours.

Travel Spot

Garuda Wisnu Kencana
Cultural Park where you can see classic attractions, one of the world's largest monuments and beautiful panoramic view. GWK open at 08.00 a.m until 22.00 P.M. Don't miss the free show (schedule via website http://www.gwkbali.com/).
Entry fee Rp 70.000/person.

Kecak Dance Uluwatu
The best place to see Kecak dance is in Uluwatu. Not only you can see the traditional dance but also sunset views from the top of the reef. The dance begins at 18:00, but make sure to arrive early to get the best seat, because a lot of people want to see this dance everyday.
Entry Ticket Uluwatu: Rp15.000, Ticket Kecak Dance : Rp100.000/person

Lovina Beach
In North Bali, there is a place to see sunrise in the middle of the sea and see the dolphins swimming in the sea at once. You need to Go to the north of Bali (3 hours from Kuta Beach), and make sure you arrive in the beach before sunrise. You can book travel agent or go there and find a fisherman to rent the boat directly. The journey begins at 06.00 a.m until 08.00 a.m
Boat rent: Rp100.000/person (400.000/boat - small boat)

Penglipuran Village
Traditional village, that still retain cultural acestry, represents the house that is almost similar to each other. The houses are facing each other and bounded by the main road which leads to the main part of the village. Not only see the traditional house, but also experience to enter the house and try the traditional food from this village.
